Weekly #/Workouts for Mass?

Hey all,

I tore my right anterior deltoid a bit last October, and haven't lifted since. It's to the point where I want to lift again, but won't put any strain on the shoulder at this point, so I'm going to restrict my lifting to a LOT of preacher-pad curls ( both straightbar and two variations with the EXCurl bar ), and various tricep-pulldown variations *for now*. Right now, I'm mainly looking to gain mass, since I'll be hitting up my cardio as soon as it warms up a bit here.

Which leads me to my question - what is better for gaining mass? One or two workouts ( for the same muscle groups ) a week? I'm already going to start ( light ) this afternoon then hit the weights hard every Friday, would a Tuesday workout help or hinder me in gaining mass?

Also, any tips for ' quickER ' ( since there's no such thing as quick ) mass?

Thanks!

Lift with your legs, they can put on mass better than biceps and triceps.
