Weird Feeling For Stomach Vacuums

I was just wonder i've been analyzing the stomach vacuum for a couple of days and putting it into use, and i try to do it all the time. My bf is i predict around 10-15 percent, and its not as near to see fully ripped abs etc haha

but i was wondering when you release all the air, how do you guys do it for a minute or even 30 seconds. I consider my lung capacity to be pretty good, and my ability to hold my breath pretty good as well, but when i let go of all my air in my lungs, and I suck in my tranversal abdomen muscles i get a "hard" pressure on my trachea (i think this is because of the negative pressure and all the air outside wants to come in?). Well anyways, when i can no longer keep my stomach vacuum, i let the air come in, and it comes in really quickly and i don't control it (because of the pressure gradient). So yeah, care to tell me what you guys think? Thanks!

stomach vacuum is a waste of time

weighted abdominal exercises with good eating to reduce bodyfat under 10% and you will see abs

This is the second time in the past few days I've seen this and I'm curious why it has become such a popular opinion?

This exercise has been to reduce the size of the waistline by working the transversus abdominus and lumbar multifidus (inner abdominals) - something crunches, et al, fail to work. The inner abs support the lower back and working them can lead to better health in that area. They also support posture and control deep breathing during power movements, such as heavy squats. Just as I would not rely on squats to be enough stimulation to work my external abs so I would be hesitant to rely on them for the inner abs. Doing supplemental work for them is just as important as doing work for your forearms and the external abs.

As for your question dojo, I don't think you really need to worry too much about how you bring the air back in. Just let it be comfortable for you.

you don't have to hold your breath for the duration of the vacuum. just expel all the air so you can feel the transversus tightening. then you should be able to hold it and continue breathing.

ok I apologize I did some more research on it and found arnold schwarzenegger made it popular i guess. its seems like its not really to make your abs more visible but for people whos stomach is slightly dissented, to tighten and flatten it more. so, make sure to do other ab stuff too IMO

Wow, I didn't think anyone did those anymore.

From what I've seen of the old time bodybuilders and strong men from years past they seemed to do them a lot and had a totally different physique than the bodybuilders of today.

Appeared to have much smaller waists. There are also other factors in play, but I wouldn't call the vacuums a total waste of time.

Please be sure to let us know how they turn out for you.

How'd you mean? A nice package that was.
That pic should get the man a page's job for this summer at the White House.
