Weird Question

This isn't exactly bodybuilding related, but I didn't know where else to put it. For the last few months since I have started weightlifting, I have noticed an odd problem. It feels as though there is a nickel or quarter sized rock behind my left nipple. It is also slightly painful to touch. The other side feels normal. I am a male btw. I wanted to see what you guys thought before I got it checked by the doctor.

how old are you? gynecomastia is not uncommon in teen males - it's a result of hormone fluctuations and should clear up in short order.

by all means, get it checked out by the doctor, but it's likely nothing serious.

oh, something else occurs: it could be irritation from benching so low that the bar hits your chest.

Yea, I'm not too worried about it. Just something weird. I know of other people that have had something similar. I don't recall letting the bar hit my chest on bench presses.

Oh and I'm 18.

I had the same thing a while back before I started lifting. No idea what it was but it's gone now.

More than likely it is gyno, but have it checked by a health professional just to be sure.

(wonders if it's anything to do with increased hormone levels from the weight-lifting?)
