Talking

Well... I waxed my back today. hehehe... Pics

It stung a little, but the woman who was doing it was hot (although afterwards I found out she has a son of my age (21) ) but nevertheless, knowing a hot chick was doing it gave my mind something to relax on Now I can go out and play with the other kids

Back is my favorite and the only body part that since the beginning of my heavy training (March) has been increasing in strength (and size, I guess) I don't want this to be moved to progress pics, just a few *positive* comments will suffice. LOL. (any comments will suffice)

It depends on how vain you are and how much you believe in "beauty is pain" crap. lol

No, it depends on the area and how much hair you've got. Like mid-back was very mild, but closer to shoulders and upper back was worse. However, the pain is a one-second thing and every time she ripped it, she put her palm on the area, which really soothed it.

From 1 to 10, I'd say 6-7 - just because the pain is like a sting and not like a toothache, which can drive you nuts. However, she did say (maybe she was just being nice, though) that I am very easy to work with, because she said many men screamed and yelled out profanities when she was doing it. I shrugged, said "Well, I enjoyed it , and I enjoyed your company" (always gotta hit on the women, who cares if they've got a kid like you already :P)

So, it's personal, but hey - if you do any serious lifting and you know what it's like to battle a 200-lb barbell, you've got the balls to handle it

Laser is also semi-permanent, so even there you're not guaranteed that after you spend all that money your hair is gone. And, we're talking about a difference between $30 - $40 that you spend for waxing a major body part (like back) and $3000 - $4000 for laser treatments.... Maybe when I start earning money instead of only spending it , I'll consider that option, but it's just too damn expensive

Have you ever used anything like nair? I would rather spend $5 ( I'm guessing how much a bottle is) on a bottle of that opposed to $30-$40 on getting my back and whatever else waxed.

NO WAY! nair sux, getting waxed rips out the hair by the folicle. depending on how often you wax, if you wax every month or so, the hair will grow alot finer AND slower. with nair , the hair grows back almost the next day AND its alot thicker. so whats your choice now?

I don't see why guys worry about back hair!!!! What's the big deal, I mean, why would you want to wax it off? It's very masculine, can be very appealing IMO....

lol, i think the general concensus of older women (i'm guessing more than college aged) may find chest hair appealing, but not back hair - of course thats just in general sure there are exceptions. But i've found at my age, 18, when goin to the beach and stuff in the summer, women, or rather girls, prefer less hair.

I think you guys are getting silly about back hair, its really no big deal, so what, a guy has back hair. Next thing you know guys will be shaving their armpits or something....either that or waxing their butts.....
ROFL...sorry, couldn't resist that one!!!
The other thing I don't see why guys worry about is baldness....who really cares anyway????
-Amy
Oh, I had to add a P.S. there's absolutely NOTHING worse than the comb-over so don't ever resort to that if you're bald!!!
