What a Relief!

My poor unfortunate brother has been diagnosed with Celiacs disease. Thankfully I had a blood test done and I am thankfully in the clear. If I had had it, it could have put a real crimp on my bodybuilding lifestyle.

Found this on a google search and it looks like really good advice for your brother:

Concentrate on what you CAN eat, not what you can't. Try not to blow the gluten-free (GF) diet out of proportion. If you take processed foods out of the equation, you can eat almost anything: fruits, vegetables, beans, meat, fish, rice, corn, etc. When you eat plain food, you start to really taste food the way you never tasted before. What we can eat is good for us.

More and more people are getting diagnosed with it every year and the market is adjusting.

My mom, and three of her four siblings have it but have atypical symptoms. I should probably be tested, what is involved? How did you brother know to get tested?

black licorice is used to treat crohn's disease and other ailments of the gut lining - the real deal, not the candies.

Well, my brother suffered from food poisoning several years ago and ever since his stomach has been really bad and has suffered from that sort of nervous disorder with his bowels, probably IB. He decided to go to the doctor and they took a blood test and came back with the result of Celiacs disease.
