What are your fitness goals? Anyone to become a bodybuilder?

I've always considered a life of a cover model better and easier than an engineer's. I've always told myself that if I ever got a chance at doing something like that - I'd put my (not yet finished) hard-earned degree aside and try to work as a model, in commercials, catalogs, etc. I figured with enough make-up they could potentially make me look good

Anyways, does anyone else ever have these aspirations? Is anyone thinking of taking your training to the next level, like doing it professionally, or becoming a personal trainer of some sort, or anything like what I said above? Is this "out there?"

I have thought about being a personal trainer or a nutritionist.

my fitness goals are to stay true to a decent diet and workout program for the rest of my life. But more importantly instill [sp?] these habits into my children so they may enjoy a healthy and fullfilled life themselves.

i am a small time model for an agency called model club in mass. but it's just cause of my face, not my body yet. Biggest reason i work out is just to be in healthy shape. Like u, i agree that modeling is a very easy life style but u can't bank on it so i plan to major in psycology. only a little harder :

I work out because i need it to improve on my other activities such as Boxing, Breakdancing, and Basketball which requires alot of strenght and endurance. Maybe I'll become a fitness trainer and work in my local gym someday.

I lift for football basicaly, that and to look good. There is nothing better in life to be able to push around just about anyone that gets in the way of your goals. I will probably be stuck with offensive lineman as I progress in school, mainl because of my size (im relatively big for my age) and because I like it there, although D line is fun as well. Idoubt I will becoem a bodybuilder, just to strict on the dieting.

Actual fitness goals
Bench - 300lb
Squat - 500lb
Deadlift - 1000lb

Of course this isnt going to be anytime in the next couple of years. But as long as I stick with it, I will reach my goals.

if ur big then isn't 300 a low bench goal? i'm only 16 and my goal is 280 by the time football starts(september) and 1000 for deadlift..holy crap, that's nuuuuts. the most i've ever seen(and i know some freakish power lifters) is alittle over 700

Wow man you are planning to break a world record in the deadlift? Good luck hehe, but not with a 300 pd bench and 500 pd squat. Those numbers are a little off but i know what you intended.

The main reason i workout is to keep a healhty lifestyle. I may one day be involved in some sort of science, might as well be exercise science, no? I also want to keep lifting and see where it takes me years from now.

Ok, scratch that, its rather unrealistic. Here is my new revamped goal for deadlift - 600, seems about right.

Well I primarily lift so I wont DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well at least so I wont die FAT!! That and the strength, when I first started I could barely rep 30 LBS!!!!! Now I've jumped to 195 in 3 months. So it feels really good. Plus its fun.

To be able to run 5 miles. I haven't been able to do that in years, and I've started running, hoping to acheive this goal.
I would also like to stay healthy to see my kids grow up (when I have kids). The lifestyle of a college student who likes to drink and smoke may have possibly taken a year or 2 off, but I'm rather optimistic I can get another year out of life now.
Oh, and I would also like to throw another 78 MPH fastball like I did in HS.
Wierd goals, I know.
