What da heck is wrong with...

Wheneve I do standing dumbbell lifts, everything is OK, except my left arm, right near the elbow, a little toward my forearm, it just cracks every time I do a set. It doesnt hurt or feel weird, but I feel I should get some advice. My coaches saw me lift and said I was using correct motions, and can't explain this cracking! It hasn't ever ached after workouts or anything....it's just I don't know if eventually this elbow/forearm cracking is going to haunt me.

if theres no pain, I wouldn't worry bout it too much.. sometimes a tendon that runs across a bone will make a noise as it's dragged over a groove in the bone when it tight.

I'm with mosta. As long as nothing hurts either during the lift or afterwards I don't think you're doing any damage. Just pay attention that no pain develops. I'm also guessing that as you do teh exersize more, you'll develop the stablizer musscles and the clicking will stop.
