What do think of Gary Edward's bench routine?
Here's the link:
http://davedraper.com/8-garys-bench-routine.html
It looks like a lot of sets/reps, but I think it might be what I need to start fresh and get over a hump.
Thoughts?

Klinger, if you want my advice take either Gary's routine or Kyle's try it out for 6-8 weeks for a minimum and take a look at your results, if you don't like the results from the routine of your selection then take the others and try that for the same period of time and compare. Both routines are very good routines for increasing your bench IMHO. but what's most important is what works for YOU!

Bench
Thanks for the input guys. I'll follow the Edwards routine through July, see where I'm at and then decide whether to give Kyle's regimen a shot.
Kyle - one question - do you do the squat work right after bench? Squat days leave me pretty beat, so I'm wondering whether I'd be shortchanging one or the other by doing two of the three big lifts on the same day. For backround, here is my current split:
Chest/tris
Cardio
Biceps/back
Cardio
Legs/shoulders
Catch-all day (where I slot in some work for muscle groups that are lagging. I might concentrate on dips, chins, rows, etc)
Off

Alot of times when people see the routine they think: I'll never beable to finish that! In fact its very possible. The first wk is the wk that you will be drained the most and after that its pretty much easy till the final workouts. The squat session will not leave you drained like a normal leg workout because your only doing squats and not very many reps. Granted, you'll be squatting with more frequency, but you'll adapt soon to the program.
I've also had people sub in floor presses for incline if you wanted. I know 5-6 training logs exist at my site, if you wanted I could search for them.

That routine looks interesting Kyle. I'd be interested in seeing some training logs.
Also, do you train other parts of the body while on this routine, i.e. is there a back workout that you implement on one of the off days?

Ditto on the back question.
Kyle, what about replacing power cleans with heavy deads -- or would that mess up the synergy of the routine?

When you list those percentages, are they a percentage of what you can currently lift, or what you want to lift by the end?
