Question

What is a "ladder"?


I see it referenced in a lot of KB articles and on dragondoor. What is a "ladder" and "rungs" in relation to weight training?

Mav, in my training world a "ladder" is a progressive rep rampup such as sets of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. A pyramid is when you go up the ladder then back down such as 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1. A "rung" doesn't ring a bell in my training world.

What he said. Perhaps a "rung" is just one of those rounds i.e. "1" is a rung and "2" is a rung and "3" is a rung?
