what is it that makes a muscle faster? i know a lot of PL routines have dynamic movements but what exactly does it do to the muscle that makes them more explosive? is it neural?

Your putting more emphasis on the secondary muscle groups that tie into the slow and fast twitch fibers, giving your body more muscular tension. Kind of like the strings on a guitar, the tighter you make them, the stronger and more spring-like they get.
