I too just take the cheat meals as they come. I tend to be pretty strict during the week when I am in the routine (work, gym, home etc..) and then at the weekend i am more flexible. On sunday i had a cheat meal because it was mothers day so i went to lunch with my mammy.. and i had a peice of cake.

If you are 'cheating' by just eating more calories but 'clean' food, then i would say have them on the sunday as it is your heaviest training day, or as you say saturday so you will have more energy sunday then

I'm not saying cheat meals shouldn't be scheduled, I'm just saying they shouldn't be set in stone. For example, my cheat meal is always scheduled for Saturday as a reward for a week of eating clean. But if something comes up during the week, (party, going out with friends, etc.) I'll just use my cheat meal then so I don't have to stress about eating clean.

I do the same although it's rare. Usually holidays throw it off.
