I cant get anyone to answer this in the diet/nutrition section.
I found an MRP that i want to try, but the protein blend contains soy protein. Considering im a male, and im trying to pack on muscle, should i pass on this MRP or what?

A little bit of soy protein isn't going to hurt you. The study that found soy lowered testosterone in men has not been repeated in the research community. If you like the product, give it a try.

I wouldn't waste you money on Meal replacements, ussually they cost a lot of money and offer low quality protien (available in powders for much cheaper) The carbs and fats they include are often of poor quality.
But is it my opinion that soy isn't poison but it shouldn't make up a large amount of your protien intake.

Well MRPS are a big part of my diet. Eating 7 times a day would be physically impossible without at least an MRP or two everyday, as well as PWO shake, and an egg protein shake to supplement 1-2 of my meals.

They're around $1 per shake for most that I see. You can get Myoplex or Met-Rx ones for around $25 per 20 package box. I like to use them at work because its less of a hassle than taking a meal from home, and also just a bit easier on my wallet in the long run.
I stand corrected those do seem pretty good, The link is that to bars or powder? how many do you get for you $52?
I still like real food when I can (I still take between 3-5 shakes a day), Get a food dehydrater and make beef jerky, tastes great, cheap (less than 2cents/gram of protien) totally portable and once you have the lean meat the rest of the meal is easy to carry.
It shouldn't be too bad. I dont know how bioavaliable soy is though. On the other hand,it is a complete protien so you dont have to worry about missing amino acids.
I dont think that a small percentage of an MRP being soy will hurt anything. Cursor said a little variety is good, even though I alreay get enough variety anyway....Whey protein PWO, whey/casien blend in the morning and before bed, egg white and egg protein mid morning, and chicken and steaks in the evening.
