Question

Wrist Curls

Does anyone on use wrist curls to build their forearm flexors? If someone said "no I don't need to build my forearms, their big enough as it is" I'd say what b**l*cks! If you are training for the ideal physique then everything should be in balance. Enough of this critisism. Who uses wrist curling and how many sets? I personally love them as they always burn and the veins start showing through.

I do them behind my back, with as much weight as I can handle for 20 reps or so. Higher reps seem to work well on my forearms for some reason. And I get better development providing I add reverse wrist curls with an EZ curl bar, too. Those two exercises go hand in hand.

I don't do wrist curls, I attached a rope to a dumbell handle and attached weight to the bottom of the rope and I just roll the rope all the way up, then back down. I think you can buy them all over the net, they're called like forearm trainers or something.

If you look at your forearms side on, it will definately show your flexors and the size of them if you train them.

I love grip strength and forearm work, but wrist curls are way down on my list... Static bar holds, gripper work, wrist rollers, lever work and band extensions are, IMO, better choices...
