You Were RIGHT

I have discovered recently ( I feel a slight fool) that all this time over the years, when the say increase your calory intake I had it all wrong and increased my carbs to much rather then having 50/50 of proteins and carbs. There is a noticable difference coming now and my body weight is going up a bit further. Cheers.:

I'd go broke if my protein was 50/50 with my carbs. I'm at about 45C/35P/20F right now and I couldn't imagine squeezing in anymore protein. Glad its working out for you!

Just to get clear what you said Maverick, do you mean the equal balance of protein is incorect or should it be more? I'm not sure.

It should be whatever is working for you. I think its great that you managed to find the ratio that your body works best with. A lot of people blindly follow the advice of others without tinkering to find their own balance. I think too many people get stuck on the 40/40/20 without trying something else.
