From the chart, she looks to have been very successful.

Congrats to her.

Yeah the funny thing is that she is so hard on her self. She has shed a few more pounds of fat since this and she still keeps thinking that there must be something wrong with her numbers or the scale or the calipers... Nevermind the fact that she had to buy all new pants because nothing fit anymore! Good thing I'm around to set things straight.

She is doing great! But sometimes it's hard to see the changes in yourself. I hope you've been taking pics for her. That might make it easier for her to see the changes.

No I hadn't. She has been able to compare with pictures we had taken six months earlier, but you can't really tell as the photos weren't taken for that purpose. She is excited to be able to create her own workouts that are more tailored to her goals now that she's finished the course.

Oh and I did show he this brag thread, she just rolled her eyes and gave me an exasperated "honey!" "I can't believe you did that!" even though she definitely could believe it! She relaxed and I think she may join back up and start posting.

You can tell Bonnie congratulations from me too. She has made great progress on lowering her bodyfat. Hopefully she has fallen in love with the feeling of being fit and not just the numbers.

You sound very proud! I love the way you support her and take an interest. Your family is lucky to have fitness as so high a priority. :

That's an excellent idea. I recommend it to my clients too, emphasizing, "don't suck anything in!" Full front/back/sides. Every four weeks, put it a SEALED envelope, write the date on it and your weight, and tuck away or give to a spouse/partner/friend. Repeat. After about 3 months to 4 months, pull them out and lay them out side by side.

There's a huge power to the visual cues of the mind. And if she can see herself, FOR herself, she may appreciate it more! In the pics, try to get her in a bathing suit or minimal clothing, so she can see her skin tone and muscle tone (ie: no jeans and tee-shirts).

That is friggin' phenomenal! Get some pics up so I have more ammo to convince my wife that the numbers on the scale don't matter, its what shows up in the mirror. 6 pound difference and half the bodyfat! Great job!

way to go! those are some very impressive results.

It can be very difficult to see changes in yourself, for one thing you look in the mirror every day so the changes are very slight. Also we are always our own worst critics which means everybody else can see how great she has done, but she herself can only focus on the areas she still wants to change.

I would love to see those before and after pictures, i can only imagine the change! it would be something like Lady C's transformation i imagine.. only a slight change in scale weight but complete change in body comp!
