I imagine you are referring to the bloating that ladies sometimes have?

Your answer is yes. Anytime you are holding extra water your girth and weight will go up. Water is heavy.

I'm not a lady and after my carb loading weekends I usually weigh 10lbs heavier and am about an inch thicker in the one place I don't want to be an inch thicker at...my abdomen. Everything else seems a little "puffy" too. Don't get dirty minded folks, I'm referring to arms, legs, chest...

So if you are holding water, don't worry about it. When you pee it off the extra weight and size will be gone.

Is the bloating new to you or is it something you get all the time but just started asking about?

If it's hormones or after a bad meal or night of drinking just let it pass as it will when you get back to your normal routine. If you are trying to get to the root cause then try tracking your food in fitday.com and your monthly cycle for 2 months. You should be able to pinpoint whats going on by doing that.
