both my mom and i went down a size when we lost weight.. its normal.. but its all proportionate.. cause even tho ur boobs get smaller, so does ur waist and arms.. so it still looks good

try not to worry about it.. your body is gonna get rid of fat where ever it wants to.. If you build up ur pec muscles, it might have a small impact, but not too much of a noticable difference..

First of all congrats on having a nice chest (the male in me had to say that). Secondly, as mixtic says as you lose fat your breast will shrink. Still it won't be like out of control or anything. If what you said is true about J.Lo thats rediculous because its fat loss not site specific exercise that results in shrinkage of the butt.

J.lo I am sure has a very naturally muscular butt... she aint fat I can tell you that... like some people have larger shoulders naturally.. ya know.. she probably doesn't work her butt just so the muscle doesn't get bigger...

I'd say that it's very unlikely that your breasts will get any smaller due to simply working your chest muscles. That would be spot reduction of fat, which is impossible. However, if you lower your overall BF% it's quite likely that you might lose some breast size, as they're comprised of alot of fat. Muscle looks better than fat though, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Wolfnatas is correct you can not spot reduce fat... you can't just work your abs and expect to lose fat in that area.. this is the same for breast size... only with reducing calories will you lose breast size..

Possibly

1) Boobs are fat. 2) yes doing fitness exercise that uses muscles in that are does seem to tone that area... even though people say there is no such thing as spot reduction. I'm a guy 6'1 and I dropped to 175 while playing boys volleyball. We did a lot of stuff that made me sweat and lose weight. However, I still had a quite visible butt. Now, I have gained fat to 210 pounds, and I've lost it to 187. And I will lose 10 more and start training weights again.... however, now ive been running the treadmills, doing running to lose weight, isntead of playing volleyball. So, I notice my butt seems smaller. Yes it's smaller from losing 20 pounds. But I think also that its ALSO smaller smaller now at 187 than it was when I was 175 pounds and played volleyball!. I ASSume running is working my glutes..... When in volleyball it was more of a whole body thing.

I think that if i continue to run and become 175, I'll have no butt at all. I've had compliments for my ass and I think I will lose it... What do you guys think?

Like Interger stated, your chest and rearend are not "mass". Ok - I take that back, you do have muscle underneath the fat, but as far as the chest is concerned it's ALL fat. The only way to NOT lose any up top is to not lose weight. Building the muscle underneath will tone and tighten the area underneath the fat which, for some that are smaller chested actually makes their chest appear larger.

But, the only way to make sure they don't go down at all is to not lose weight.

As far as the glutes are concerned, I really don't know about that. When you lose weight, you will lose fat everywhere and that will include the rearend too. Now, you CAN build up your glutes so you can remain some size, but that's getting a little out of my knowledge. As far as J-Lo is concerned, I know that I have heard that she works on it so that she doesn't lose that billion dollar ass, but I don't think that means NOT doing anything because that would be worse for it. J-Lo's base body is not a straight stick figure so she doesn't really have to work hard to maintain the overall shape that she has. She has to work at keeping it fit, but I mean the "shape" is there. I have the same shape and no matter how much I try I will never look like Cortney Cox (I don't want to, just an example.)

I've been working out for 9 months now and I've lost alot of breast because my body fat is dropping. If you loose bf you are going to loose your breasts. sorry. I will never stop working out for my breasts. If it really get's out of control one day and I don't feel good about myself I'll just get implants.

Doing chest workout can build the muscle under your brests and maybe make them look bigger. That's the only thing you can do.

See, the problem here is we have virtually no control whatsover in where on the body fat is stored or burned from. Fat is basically a union shop with a fairly strict 'last hired, first fired' policy. When you gain fat your body puts it where it wants and when you burn fat it takes it in pretty much the reverse order.

So if you avoid chest exercises in your workouts you're not really going to effect the distribution of overall fat loss and you'll be giving up really good compound exercises.

It's not a good deal.
