can you get your butt from 35" - 36" to 38" by doing certain exercises?

If it's possible, can you be detailed in how? Thank you

You can lift and tone what you've got, but all the squats in the world are not going to give you a J Lo butt.

no, sirree ma'am. the only thing that'll pack size on the ol' booty is fat, and that's only if you're predisposed to gain it there, which not all women are.

try something else: work at whittling down your waist and thereby emphasizing the waist-to-hip ratio - that should at least give the illusion of more on the caboose.

Lifting a spoon to my mouth with my old buddies Ben & Jerry? Repeat for reps.... NOT!

Seriously, working the butt/hamstring area will give you shape, dunno about an increase in size. When I've lost a lot a weight in the past without resistance training, I'd lose my butt (pancake flat) - this time with lots of heavy weight training and spinning for cardio, I've got a nicely shaped butt (if I say so myself!).

What if you build muscle in that area, then work that muscle to grow. You still can't acheive an extra inch, or maybe two?

the thing is, your glutes are already pretty well developed as they are because you work them each and every day of your life. you can make them more solid and more defined, but i don't think i've ever heard of anyone actually making them larger.

j lo's butt shape may be determined by the shape of her muscles underneath, but the size, heft, and roundness are all fat.

same as boobs, by the way - you can bench press till your arms fall off, but you'll never get a bigger bust from bench-pressing.
