I'm a college student with little time to exercise. For the past few months I have been running 4 miles at least two times a week. I'm thinking about starting a strict diet, because eating what I usually want and exercising is not working for me anymore.
Can anyone of you ladies suggest a diet for a "quasi-vegetarian" (I only eat chicken and turkey) and a new exercise routine? Also, anyone doing Pilates can tell me how effective this exercise is?

Never tried Pilates but heard it's really great, what can it hurt to give it a shot! I was wondering what exactly your goals are? (You say exercising & eating what you want is not working).

I'd like to lose 5-10 pounds and tone my body. I am happy with my current weight (I'm 5'3, 123), but I sure was happier a year ago when I weighted 118. I guess I'd like to lose those pounds, maintain that weight and also adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Laura is about your size - go to the workout and journal secion and look at Laura's journal. She lists her diet and workout routine. This will give you an idea of where to start.
