first 5 days with upped protein

hello,

im on my fifth day of taking protein shakes and eating a meat. i take two of these a day with 4 oz milk

Serving Size (scoop) 1
Servings Per 71
Calories 130
Fat Calories 20
Total Fat (g) 2
Sat. Fat (g) 1.5
Cholesterol (mg) 35
Sodium (mg) 160
Potassium (mg) 350
Total Carbs (g) 4
Dietary Fiber (g) 1.5
Sugars (g) 2
Proteins (g) 23

then for supper i have a chix breast or osmething similar. so yesteray was my 1st workout after starting this. my weight lifting felt amazing. i felt so strong and i could do lunges and squats like nothing! i was really excited until i tried to do cardio. it was such a struggle. i got through it but i had to step off the treadmill every couple of minutes to breath. it was like i never ran before! anyways, could this have somtehing to do with getting used to the protein? or maybe i was just having an off day? also *whispers* when is the farting going to stop??

thanks a bunch, clare

hahah get some ginger root for the digestion problems with the added protein. its very cheap, can be bought at any drug store. take 1 500mg cap before each meal and your'll notice a world of difference.
that ratios for the protein shake look good as well.
did you train legs before you did the cardio? if so thats probably why your cardio suffered. I can barely walk after training legs. im like a penguin!

haha ya he will love you for that! less t00tin'

hmm perhaps you are a bit dehyrated. when taking in extra protein you should be getting lots of water to help flush our your kidneys. see if that helps.

Maybe do cardio on a seperate day. Gives your legs a chance to rest.
