Gakic

There doesn't seem to be any hormones in GAKIC but anyone sure if its safe for women?
And has anyone tried it?

No one has replied because there seems to be little experience with it on this board. This thread ran a while back: http://www.discussfitness.com/forums...ighlight=gakic

I saw on their website that the free sample offer is still up, so I signed up for one. I'll try it if I ever get it. It will have to have pretty amazing results for me to spend $50-$70 a month for it. That's way more than I spend on all my other supplements combined.

haha, figures, its new stuff.
but i know two people that use the stuff and they look awesome. I understand how it works part of it anyway. (They descirbe the product reducing waste buildup in the muscle but they say its only one of many jobs). I want to try it out. But again, i have no clue if its safe for me.

Gakic is pretty much: a glycine (a non-essential, neutral, genetically coded amino acid) and L-arginine (a protein amino acid present in the proteins of all life forms) salt of alpha-ketoisocaproic acid calcium (a precursor of glutamine and has a potent 'sparing' effect on endogenous glutamine pools) (recent literature suggests that the administration of [alpha]-ketoglutarate in combination with ornithine improves gut morphology and functions, counteracts trauma-induced dysimmunity and exerts anabolic/anticatabolic actions on protein metabolism.).

The purple is the chemical name for Gakic. The rest is a loose interpretation of what it is. It appears to be fairly harmless stuff. It is also non-hormonal if that was your concern.
