gym pants question
When I squat all the way down to the floor to do deadlifts, my pants sort of slide down my butt a bit and show my underwear. I know the obvious solution is to wear longer shirts, but I like working out in a tank top. Anybody have any suggestions?
I posted in the female forum, but if this is not a female-specific problem, I'll take suggestions from the guys too.

Might want to wear some loose pants, or possibly a belt. Actually if you wear a belt then you definitely want them to be loose or you'll end up with a pair of split pants :

pull them up when you stand up or wear undies that say "enjoying the view?" or "nosey little bugger, aren't you?".

I think you need to come train with me, and continue wearing the same pants you are wearing right now .

Screw the pants just wear the thong and call it a day, works at muscle beach. OR wear looser shorts both in the waste band and legs (think soccer style) and pull them up extra high before your lift.

Dump the undies and switch to running shorts. That is what I use and have no issues.

Ah, Commando style!
I've had to put eyedrops in my eyes after some workouts to treat retina burn from some of the ladies that workout in loose shorts sans undies..........

You are there to workout. Wear what is comforatable that you can work well in. If they slide down a bit you can pull them back up after your set. I prefer shorts when it is hot, sweats when it is cold. If I show some crack, no one should be looking anyway.

oh, no - i NEVER wear long or loose shirts to the gym. too dangerous and, in the case of deadlifts, becomes a problem if the fabric wraps around the bar or bunches up in front of it on its way up.
i have a massive back tattoo - ppl look. i shrug.

Gentlemen - running shorts have the undies built in! Uh . . Sorry not commando in the gym. Getting an eyeful of more than expected while lifting heavy things is NOT desireable.

Your opinion.
Yeah, you are talking about girls running shorts - most of the guys don't know about them and the liner in them. The only reason I knew what you were talking about is I have two daughters who have both been cheerleaders, basketball players, softball players, and so on and have bought plenty of those things over the last few years.
I actually got myself a pair for sleeping in during the summertime. Cool, comforatable, no suprises if I have to get up and walk through the house in the middle of the night and am not the only one who happens to be awake.
