How to increase difficulty?

hi everyone!

Yes, finally, I've come to a moment when some exercises seem too easy! Yipee... Well, actually, there are only a few of this sort, but still!

Anyway, my question is "How do I increase difficulty?". Let's say, f.i., I'm doing 3 sets of 12 reps with 30 lbs on Chest Press. Should I switch to:

4 sets of 12 reps - same weight
or
3 sets of 15 reps - same weight
or
3 sets of 12 reps - 35 lbs
or
Combine?
or
.... Joker ...

Thanks in advance for your answers!

how about 3 sets of 8 reps with heavier weight, or even less reps, 4-6 ,and go real heavy. Doing another set will make it more difficult as well, especially trying to hit the same amount of reps for a second time.

I would do 35 lbs as many as you can. Continue until you reach 12 reps then increase to 40 lbs.

Thanks to both of you! I'm quite happy with the answer actually as I've always felt increasing weight more challenging, as a sort of small victory against oneself...
