Impatient
So far I have been working out for a little over a month. I have noticed I am becoming firm...But the inches on my waist aren't really budging I have a
28" waist I did lose an inch or so ...My goal is a 24" waist ..... Well my question is How long should it take me to get to my goal if I continue
working out 4 times a week sometimes more I like to ride my bike or play tennis with my boyfriend.... My workouts consist of The Firm workouts ..using
the transfirmer series alternating each day 3 days a week ...I don't really eat unhealthy
I dring 2 cups of 100% juice and the rest water
I have 1 serving of dessert every day
plus I don't eat chicken or beef
I eat fish, seafood, cheese, sometimes eggs, and try to get all my vegetables in.
I try to limit my serving with Pasta but the only time I eat Pasta is at my
boyfriends house
Thank You

An inch or so in a month? And you are complaining?
You are doing fine. Just keep doinig what you are because it is working for you. It takes time. And the fact that you have visible results in less than 8 weeks is simply amazing.
Congrats to you on your success to date. This is coming from the guy who was once 300lbs so I know what I'm speaking of when I say you are doing great.
Chicken and beef won't hurt you so unless you have some other reason for avoiding them other than weight loss - go ahead and have them.
Fish is of course always a good choice.
you can't possibly go wrong by including fibrous green veggies in every meal. Try to get about 10 calories/lb of bodyweight and continue with your workouts and you will do well.
When you reach your goals, you will have to re-calculate your diet by increasing calories so that weight loss stops and fat gain doesn't resume. When that time comes - we will help you.

and good for you losing all that weight.....I know I should eat chicken and beef but I am a pesco-vegetarian plus I love seafood. So I guess I am doing well....I just want to make sure I fit in a size 4 dress by Sept 8...
Another thing Will I still see results if I work out just 3 days a week?....
I guess I might since I have been seeing some results ...thanks to The Firm it did guarantee results in 10 workouts...ha ha I never believe that crap. I thank you for the support ....I really need it.
Thank you again

You're doing good, don't worry. Patience is the key. Add in a walk around the neighbor a few times a week for added fat loss.

I don't know exactly what that is, but if chicken and beef aren't part of your plan or if you don't like them, simply don't have them. There are no "should" foods. As long as you are getting complete protiens and are eating the proper balance of protein, carbohydreate, and fat for your needs then you will do fine.

You are doing fine. You can't force your body into a certain number by a certain date. Sorry but if you are not willing to eat high quality protein like chicken and beef then you'll have to do some experimenting on your own, but let us know how it works. We may all learn something from it.
Oh and reducing your workout time to 3 days a week to reach your goal is kinda like not using common sense. Up your intensity and leave it all on the floor when you are done!

Hi MusGoddess! do you currently track your food intake (calories, protein carb and fat grams)? If not, you can check out FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal or Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, Food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate as it is very helpful when trying to lose weight to know exactly what you are intaking on a daily basis, put everything in leave nothing out.
In regards to exercise, Brat gave great advice : increase your intensity. Work hard at the gym and work hard with your diet and you will see results. Will you be a size four by september, who knows. There are better short term goals. Like : feeling stronger and fitter, increased cardiovascular endurance, increased awareness of what you are putting into your body, feeling better in your own skin. These are things you may experience as a result of a positive lifestyle change, enjoy them!

sure it does, walkign burns more calories off than running does. Because you walk more than you run. You cannot run all day, it drains you out, but you can easily walk all day which therefore burns more calories.
