Motivational Affirmations

Today I was on my treadmill (which has a wall right in front of it, no view) and I thought "I am going to put up a picture and some motivational quotes to look at, so it can keep me motivated while I run." :

Lets all post some of the motivational affirmations we use to keep ourselves going!

"Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret"-unknown

"Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated."-Anonymous

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.

That which does not break me makes me stronger.

Our greatest glory consists not in never falling ... but in rising every time we fall.

The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more

It isn't our abilities that makes us who we are, it is our choices.

I have a plaque in my workout room that says "Let your spirt guide you so you can soar to new heights"

I'm a runner so here are a few that I like:

There are clubs you can't belong to, neighborhoods you can't live in, schools you can't get into, but the roads are always open.

Runs end. Running doesn't -September '95

"Running is the greatest metaphor for life, because you get out of it what you put into it." —Oprah Winfrey

"Those who say that I will lose and am finished will have to run over my body to beat me." —Said Aouita

To a runner, a side stich is like a car alarm. It signifies something is wrong, but you ignore it until it goes away. ~Author Unknown

"It hurts up to a point and then it doesn't get any worse."
Ann Trason

"If you start to feel good during a marathon, dont' worry you will get over it."
Gene Thibeault

Oh here is another one:

The past is history. The future is mystery. And this moment is a gift.
