My fellow women...
I took a hiatus from working out during the holidays, and ate like a pig. Naturally, I gained some fat back.
What puzzles the hell out of me is that while most of what I originally lost was off my stomach, when it came back on a good bit of it went onto my breasts. And now none of my bras fit anymore; I estimate I gained at least half a cup size. I talked to another female lifter friend, and the same damn thing happened to her.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I havent heard of this happening... i assumed that if fat loss wasnt area specific then neither was fat gain.

Yeah, actually I AM complaining, though Tom's not. They're tender, ill-fitting bras are uncomfortable bras, and my center of gravity has changed just enough to make me clumsier.
Think about it this way- how would you feel if your scrotum suddenly grew a size?

well... i guess all there would be to suggest is to lose the weight you put on over the holidays... isnt that the only thing to do?.... other than surgery that is.... if its affecting you that much.

Kitara: If I am, I'd only be a few weeks in. It'd be too early for that, right? RIGHT?! Great, now I'm gonna fret until my next period, thanks a lot.
In either case though, it couldn't be the case for my friend that it happened to, unless it was an immaculate conception...
Everyone else: Yeah, I do imagine it'll go away now that I've resumed my normal schedule and eating habits. I was mostly just curious how many other women this had happened to.

That's exactly when it happened to me Cougar. Right at the beginning they got bigger and more tender/sore. And my stomach/butt actually started getting smaller. I thought I had found a miracle diet LOL. Kidding, I was already in shape at the time.

We are too gearhead . It's been almost a year, but it took exactly one year with my first too so who knows. My heart goes out to you because I know what it's like right before TOM comes and there's that anxious stomach thing going on "will it come, won't it come?"
Anyway...good luck .
