My first pull-up!!

Finally! My first pull up. Ever. I am so pumped!!
I just wanted to thank everyone. Even though I hardly ever post (I guess because I figure I really don't know enough to advise), I do read and take other people's advice under consideration. And it has helped tremendously. You guys are great and you just don't realize how much you help.

Thanks.

Congrats from a pull-up junkie.

With continual effort the count will go up but at some point we all hit the wall and plateau. For best continued results and to avoid overuse injury, mix and match your pull-ups. By that I mean: standard-grip pull-ups, standard-grip chin-ups, close-grip pull-ups, close-grip chin-ups, wide-grip pull-ups and wide-grip chin-ups.

Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Good advice from pierini there, and he is a pullup junkie . I always vary my pullup/chinup grips in my workouts.

Thanks Pierini for the advice. Once I can do more than one, I'll keep that in mind. I can see how you can be a pull-up junkie. I keep wanting to try to do it. Maybe it's because I still can't believe it!
You're right Cursor. It's one of the best feelings in the world.

This has been one of my goals, too. I'm about 2/3 of the way there.

Congrats on this achievement!
