need advice

Hello -

I wanted to start working out again, and I have a bowflex at home and I am debating on joining a gym or utilizing what I have at home. I never used it, my husband does, but I wanted to start using it. I am pretty small, i weight about 100 pounds, and I am tall so i want to look leaner and lose a little bulge that I have. My waist is a 24 my stomach area/hips area 33

So, anyway i want to look leaner. I recently lost a lot of weight. I also want to start doing ab excercises because I do have fat in that area especially when I sit down...aargh, I hate it... but I guess it's not that bad

Will abs excercises and resistance training w/cardio help me tone that area...I also never have tried to be consistent in ab routines... do them for one day and thats it... I eat pretty healthy.... the last few months I cut carbs out for lunch and I seem to have lost all this weight, and I don't know if is a coincedence that I was working out for a bit and also went thru a stressful situation... Now I am scared to incorporate the carbs back because I am scared it will go right back to my belly

any suggestions on my diet will be helpful

Morning -
Coffee, honey whole wheat toast 1-2 slices - sometimes boiled eggs instead of toast

Lunch salad with 1-2 foster farms buffalo strips and low fat/calorie dressing

Dinner - Rice/salad/veggies

I am really busy at work and sometimes I don't eat until dinner and just have breakfast and then I am starving when I get home..

Thanks guys

You have to decide how important all of the "leanness" is to you. You can't get there by skipping meals and not eating enough calories.

I would use the bowflex until you outgrow it or become board with it. Resistance is resistance. By increasing your exercise it will allow you to add those carbs back in without negative effects.
