Hi Kitty,

I am also 5'7 and 112lbs and have never lost my period. I actually got pregnant when I weighed 105. You might want to see an endocrinologist because most OB/Gyn's don't have a good grasp on hormones. I actually went a Dr. that was board certified in both when I was having hormonal problems.

Good luck!

LOL. Because not getting usually indicates something is.....off. (unless you're on birth control)

Depends on the birth control. If your on the pill then you get your period. If your on something like depo then you don't. Depends on the hormones.

hey hellokitty, maybe u shouldn’t worry as my younger sis had her period at 14/15 years old for only a month then hadn’t had it for a few years. She went for many checkups but doctors said she was normal. Although she's very tall for her age, but docs didn’t find anything wrong with that. However she has some complexes or insecurities as at 16 she still wet her bed. But once she managed to control her bladder problem and became less stressed by peers/school, her period came back again (at age 19) and happily ever after. So I guess if the doctors said you are normal and don’t face any health problems, then it will come back. Stress is a major factor too, try to relax more. As for birth control pills, I don’t think it’s bad it does help regulate your cycle, however just my input. Good luck.

hey there...

Well..
same thing here.. No period going on almost 5 months. i went to see my GYn at the 4th month. He ran a Thyroid test and a hormone test, evrything is normal. He put me on PROVERA which was total Chaos. Weight gain, dizzy spells, it was just crazy and NO period. My pap was "insufficient cells collected" so I had to go back in and do it again, im still waiting on that. I believe my Amenorreah was due to poor nurition. Even though I was eating real healthy, I was eating too little. My BF is not low, and Im not under weight, but I was eating too little. He wasnt to put me on BControl, but I refuse to... too many side effects!

Lol it says that my bf is 12.6% based on that site with the waist values. Anyways, i know im around 16-18% so just giving a heads up that there are more factors in play than waist size.

Cinnakiss then why won't you eat normal again? I mean, more calories. I am experiencing lack of menstruation too. and i think i was eating not enought too before + stress, that's why my hormones went unbalance. And i regret everything i did. Right now, i still havn't have any idea what's wrong with me

Probably 6 months. I went to the gyno and got a hormone test. I also went off the pill cause i kept forgetting to take it. I usually have to be on birth control to get normal periods. Now I'm on the patch.
