Painful clicky shoulder

Hi
I've had a clicky shoulder for a while now with pain, I think it maybe be my RTC. Most of my joints click without pain, some of them are hypermobile. I've been to osteopaths but they are so expensive. What's the best stabilising exercise to do, I haven't got much shoulder muscles as press-ups are too painfull, I can only manage a box press-up.

Thanks

Try this - grab a dowel or a PVC pipe pole and use it as a prop to perform a military press. If that doesn't hurt, then add visualized resistance which is using mental imagery to create resistance. Imagine you are lifting something heavy and engage your muscles as you would if you were lifting something heavy. It's not easy at first but with practice you can engage your muscles and work them.

The good thing about visualized resistance is that you can safely control the amount of the resistance which may vary along the path of the exercise movement. It can be used for other exercises also.

Keep us posted.
