Posture

Besides working out my abs and back for better posture, are there any chairs that I could buy to help me out? I would like to buy one for my office at work. The chair I have is HORRIBLE. Its BIG and SOFT. Way to comfy! I find myself hunching over and slouching. Any ideas?

Use one of those big inflatable Swedish exercise balls for an office chair. If you don't have proper posture you'll fall over. However, some people (like me) find them too distracting to use as a chair- we want to bounce all day on them.

The ball is great to sit on, but keep a chair around til you get use to it. Sitting on a ball all day will tire out your core muscles until you get use to it. But it is a lot better for you than a chair!

there are these chairs i've seen that have a knee pad and don't have a back on them that are suppose to be good for your posture. i'll look to see if I can find a picture or link to one

EDIT: here is a link to some odd looking chairs for posture chairs .
