second verse... ladies, if you pls?

In the interest of amateur scientific curiosity, I would like to research how much women can lift on the "big 3": squat, deadlift, bench. This is not intended to be a competition or a "who's stronger than who" thread, simply a way to compare weight, height, strength, crunch some numbers and come up with some averages.

the reason i'm looking for this data is because i want to know what women ARE doing versus what they SHOULD be doing.

are women deliberately holding down the weights they use and if so, what is the prevalence?

if so, by how much are they suppressing the weights they use?

why?

stuff like that.

EDIT: oh yeah!!! if you don't feel comfortable posting it, feel free to PM

5'3 147lbs or so.
Bench - 110lbs using DBs
Squat - 175lbs
Deadlift - 135lbs

This is from before. I'd be interested in doing weights again for a couple weeks because I feel I've gained a lot of overall strength doing bodyweight exercises, but I haven't decided if I'm going to yet.

Oh and for me this was as high as I could go.

(I haven't tried a one rep max since I was 26 y.o. and was at a private gym with competitive PL and BB supportive owners.)

These are the highest I've ever done for reps @ 4-6 not necessarily able to do it now. (I'm an ectomorph by nature)

Squat: 120-125lbs (I think)
Deadlift: 155-170 (I think and using cheapo denim straps)
Bench: 95 (I know)

That would be trying hard, with a spotter but no help and using proper form.

I hardly ever max out and I work mostly in the 8-10 rep range.

I'm 5'6'' about 125 lbs.

Bench: 70lbs for 8 reps
Squat: 65lbs for 10 reps
Dead: 90lbs for 10 reps (I do stiff-legged for my hams)

Yep, I could get 4-5 reps max with those. Couldn't test BB bench because I didn't have a spotter consistently.

Amanda

Has anything happened to your level of strength with BB & DB now that you are doing mostly body weight and high rep stuff?

I'm curious if it has had an effect on your training either way or just in functional strength.

I do 3-4 sets of 8-12 on these:

155-205 for squat (less reps on heavier weights)
115 or so for flat bar chest press
135 or so for deadlift
I am 5'3" and avg 125, compete at 118-120 for Fitness and Figure, 115ish for bodybuilding.
These are avgs, the only one which is top is 205 on the squat, never got past that weight and have not done that heavy now for a year at least as this is my off year.

I do 2 sets of 15 reps with the following weights (I'm 5'6" 150 lbs):

Squat 205 lbs
Bench press 95 lbs
Straight leg deadlift 135 lbs (my grip limits what I can lift)

When I weighed 190 lbs I was a lot stronger:

Squat 225 lbs
Bench press 135 lbs
Straight leg deadlift 155 lbs

Not too sure haven't tried a weight workout in a while. I do occasionally do barbell curls with the 50lb barbell and haven't lost strength there. I'm thinking doing some weights next week since i'm taking this week off.

2 sets of 15 reps with 205 and you only weigh 150lbs? Are you sure?
