Serious Weight Gain Problem

Within the past 6 weeks I"ve probably gained 10 pounds! I'm blowing up like a dang balloon. My gut has doubled overnight. WTF is going on? I HATE HATE HATE dieting or anything remotely close to it. I keep saying that I'm going to go on a healthy eating plan, but I keep failing to do so. I think it's all of the dang luncheons and cocktail thingies that I go to.

I've been exchanging email with Zoe, which has helped my eating. But something weird has happened to my metabolism and i think that I'm going to actually have to diet or something. What's a good diet for someone who HATES to think about what she eats?

BTW - I'm lifting four days per week.

I hope that you HATE the doubled-gut more than you hate dieting. Were you lifting during 4-days per week during your weight gain?

I did aTKINS strict for Atkins for two weeks, and kept the weight off.
After two weeks I cheated MAJORLY, and I don't think that you could really call it Atkins.

But then within the past 4 weeks I've just ballooned. I mean literally it feels like an overnight thing. I think that I must have gone through some major metabolism shift. I don't think that I was on Atkins long enough to screw up my metabolism that bad.

if you really haven't been eating that much, then i'm guessing it's a glycogen replenishing/rehydrating thing. glycogen alone can account for 2 - 3 lbs stored around your liver and water can add serious pounds in no time at all.
