That's cool! : I appreciate that you took the time to post that. (It's sure a more compassionate response than "whatever" or "lighten up")

If she's not doing any already, you should tell her that if and when she feel up to it she would do wonders for her health by following a regular strength and cardio plan for fitness. And no.... she's not going to end up looking like a man!

how much working out could she actually do before surgery? Most arent scheduled six months down the road... So would it really be worth it for such a short time?

It's never wrong to exercise unless you are further damaging injured tissue or further stressing an already negative set of symptoms.

Every little bit you do helps in the long run. Getting professional advice is as to the limitations would be a good place to start.

Naw she just makes comments like "oh yeah well when this sort of thing happens to you..." lol

She doesn't go to the gym that much now, but she used to go regularly, mostly to work cardio and lower body on the machines though.
