Sports Bras

Can anyone recommend a good sports bra for high impact cardio? I bought the victoria secret one and LOVE it but I had a coupon for 50% off. Without the coupon it is $49.50

Anyone?? Thanks!

That's what you'll pay if you want a good one. Try the Title Nine website.

Don't cheap out if you are really moving when you workout. You wouldn't complain about the cost of running shoes now would you?

This is my absolute favorite bra:

http://www.championcatalog.com/produ...nbr=3011000000

I am a 36D so I practically need duct tape and concrete to keep mine in one place. This bra does the trick and it's not too expensive. Champion also runs sales and you can buy them at half price (last time they had them for $20, I stocked up). Every once in a while, I get bored and decide I want a new sports bra. I always end up coming back to these. I've been wearing them for over 10 years.

Champions are the best. I'm small-chested (B-cup) and I have a few Champion Shape something or other, can't remember exactly what it's called. But I like them because they're comfy for lifting or for running. I do my cardio right after my lifting and don't want to change in between.

Same here. When I first started training, I used to run for my warm up (how stupid is that?) Besides being distracting, it was outrageously painful. After two training sessions, my trainer (I worked with him because he specialized in training people entering the military) he pulled me aside and told me two things in a very sharp (professional under the circumstances) voice:

Two things: One, cut your hair, or you tie it up so it never comes down.
And, wear a sports bra.............a good one!

That got me searching, but even now, I still can't really find one that holds the pups in place, at least w/o a major degree of discomfort (you know, like the inability to breathe).

I have tried numerous brands, and I'd NEVER buy a sports bra from Victoria's Secret. I keep my shopping for such items with the companies who specialize in it. Also make sure you get fitted properly.

Best one I've found the new one from Shock Absorber with underwire. It's brilliant. Nothing moves.

I don't think I could handle anything underwire while working out.

I always wondered what would happen to the underwire bra production if jockey cups were made with underwires to "lift & support"....(for equality, you know).
