That time of the month...

Does it make you absolutely famished? I haven't had that many periods in the last 5.5yrs. Well a total of 6 actually. This being number 7 lol. I can't remember what is normal. I'm just trying to keep my snacking healthy and limited, but it's driving me up the wall!

It's normal. We are biologicaly programed for an increase in appetite which goes hand in hand with the need for more calories during menstruation.

Famished? I guess that is subjective. I do get an increase in appetite but it is never as ravenous as the need to eat from hard intense exercise.

I am ravenous right before TOTM, about 1 week out I can't stop eating. I always crave the salty stuff too. burrittos, taco salad, pasta...I can eat a ton then be starving like 20 min later...but during TOTM, I'm usually not as hungry.

Maybe amanda, those reduced TOMs are magnifying the PMS munchies that go along with them. Sort of compacting them into once at TOM rather than spreading it out.

By famished I mean I can't get satisfied. I finish eating and 20 min hlf hr later I'm starving again, and it started yesterday when it started. Hopefully the munchies don't last through PMS lol.

I was thinking that, but the last couple days he's actually been nursing less. I finally got 5hr streches 2 days in a row, and then the night before last was 6. Which is another reason I don't want to be eating more. Since I'm trying to really watch how much I eat. Back in October I was down to 156lbs buthe was feeding every couple hours still. Then he started eating less and I didn't lol, and I went back up!
