The results are in!!!!!!

Ok..so here are the stats! I am super excited!!!!! It was a lot of hard work and I am NOT done here! I changed a lot of things about myself other than the physical and I have grown to love fitness, eating veggies and watching other things that go into my mouth that I may have never stopped eating if it wasn't for this website.

I can honestly say that this website and the people on it have helped me with my biggest obstacle in this weight loss extravaganza: CONSISTANCY and EATING HABITS!!! I hope to come back in another 2 months and give everyone more results to look at!!

So it's time to change up the routine again and I need some advice on what to do. As of now for the the past 2 months I have been breaking up my days into legs, chest/biceps, back/triceps, more arms and cardio at least 5-6 days per week. I have heard people say more compound so what would days look like? thanks again everyone!!!

Congrats on your success.

Suggestions: Keep doing what you've done. Why? Because it's working. If it ain't broke...don't fix it.

I've got one woman I work with who thinks she's read to change things because her weight stopped dropping. But she's still losing about 1/2" every two weeks off her abdomen. I'm like, dammit woman in only 12 weeks you've gone from a lardass to wearing your 17 year old daughter's dresses and shorts...why do you want to change what's working for you?

I say make some changes even though what you are currently doing has worked for you.

How many days do you want to devote to training for the next phase?

What fitness goals would you like to achieve at the next measurement date?

Congrats on your progress. Bask in your glory and stew in your juices but don't get comfortable because you are only as good as your last workout and you are what you eat!

Thanks everyone!!!

I will definitaly keep going to the gym at least 5-6 days per week

My next fitness goals are going to be 4-5 pound loss and mostly concentrating on keeping at where I am and not giving up just because I have gotten this far.

I have been getting different viewpoints from friends- one saying not to lose too much more because I am looking a little small (she is a little heavier than I) and I take all of this into account because they are my friends,BUT then again I see nothing about myself that makes me look ill or unhealthy. This was ALL accomplished through means of physical fitness and nutrition, and being consistant!!!

I am proud of all of this and I am basking in this glory but also keeping in the back of my head not to reach for that candy bar because I don't want to see all of this go down the toilet, all the hard work to only gain it all back!

Thanks again for allowing me to bask in the deepest glory!! haha

I had horrible habits! I loved chips, carbs, alcohol, chocolate, I am one girl that LOVES to eat if it was bad I ate it!!!

I had to seriously discipline myself and even right now as I sit here at 11:00pm thinking that I am hungry it's STILL hard

I am 5'3"-5'4"

Talia,

I suggest that your next round focus on increasing your strength and conditioning (endurance) using objective measures that you can test now and at the end of your measurement period, rather than on weight loss. For example, the amount of weight you can squat or bench press for 5 reps, and the distance you run in 30 minutes.

If you continue to eat clean while training to improve your strength and conditioning, I believe your weight loss goals and body chiseling goals will be achieved.

Something to think about.

Sweetdream, congratulations! Judging by your results (most size lost in midriff area) I would say the greatest accomplishment you made was lowering and controlling your alcohol consumption. That is huge because it sends such a negative "social" message when you change your habits, but you stuck up for yourself and your goal - that was perfect! :

It wasn't just that though, you've taken responsibility and worked hard. Keep it up!

I think Miss pineapple would really benefit by reading your journal entries and taking note of how getting on the path really happens. You certainly didn't do it in a straight line but you have been very successful in just 2 months.

It's hard to say whether you should keep doing what you are doing or mix it up. I like to shake the foundation before I get to locked into a routine, but that is because it takes work to think about what to do next and often we don't know what may happen because we have never been there before!

If you are still planning on doing a police test then now would be a good time to revisit that goal.

Thanks everyone!

pierni and Brat- I have seriously been considering changing up my routine because ever since I started working out I noticed that I think my body gets used to what I do and then I stop with progress, but I also think that the not "going in a straight line" also threw me off track as well and hindered my progress

It WAS tough changing my alcohol consupmtion and actually my best friend and I are in the middle of a horrible argument (it really sucks and it's hard to explain) but I am proud that I can finally just say NO and stick up for myself and my goals, because I know in the end I will be the healthier one for it!!

I am taking the written exam in January, if I pass every other test they have before the fitness test I probaly would have until July 2008 to accomplish all of the requirements for the fitness aspect.

I was told (by pierni) that compound movements would be better for me...I get scared that if I switch things up I will not lose anymore weight and I was looking to be 120 but I think I would be happy with 125. I am also nervous about keeping the weight where it is....right now I think these are the major areas of cooncern:

1. losing a few more pounds
2. what direction to go into now with my routine (should I break it up into legs and arms or legs/arms/back ect.)

**3. what keeps you at the weight you desire?!
