Truly A Ladies only question

This is a pretty personal question.. but I figure this was the best place to ask.

Does anyone else find that their underwear tends to get wedged in uncomfortable spots while they work out? Anyone have good suggestions for brands of underwear for exercising in? Obviously thongs aren't a good idea..

Gentlemen please. This question was for the ladies only. Even I managed not to make inappropriate comments. With my warped sense of humor it was difficult.

Let's respect her wishes and let the ladies answer.

Thank you.

why are thongs bad? that's the only thing i'll wear. you can go commando thats probably the most comfortable, and nothing can get wedged anywhere then.

How did I know that there would be a bunch of guys replying. haha. This is a very serious subject!

I've tried to work out in thongs. Ugh, can't do it! Maybe I'll have to try commando today and see how that works out.

I have the same problem, very annoying. Happens only when lifting weights.

aahh i hate thongs!

The underwear i wear i guess you would call 'boypants' they are low rise full panties and i dont have any riding up problems. If they fit snugly enough they should be fine. When I find a kind that fit well i go and buy loads of pairs in different colours

OK my fault I failed to post the RULES!! Before rekindling this forum. But then there's no guarantee that the rules will be read of followed when there's a new target. Lucky thing mixtic187 was not offended.

This is a really good example of why more women don't find DF a place to discuss everything. If you want the ladies to come for a first time or come back then behave please.

---------------------------------------------
That being said this is my rebuttal on the subject.

Thongs although sexy to many, are not my idea of a good time, especially in a gym. They are too distracting. Good old fashion bikini cut and or high cuts do the job for me. There is no particular brand. Actually the cheaper the better because the materials used are thin and non chaffing.

I don't find the boycuts very good for highly active people because if one side rides up then you end up picking away at it like a thong. I've not seen long legged versions except on basketball players.

I can't wear things while working out either. I wear barely there microfiber boyshorts.....they work best for me for working out.

I wear thongs. Never wear anything else. Even when I was pregnant. There's just less material to worry about!

Thanks for the input girls.. The comments from the boys.. well they make me laugh. I don't get insulted too easily.

I used to run in thongs. BAD IDEA. It's not really an issue when I'm weight lifting. It becomes a pain in the you-know-what (ha, good pun) when I'm running or biking or doing other cardio. Nobody wants to see me re-adjust my underwear a million times on the treadmill. I guess I'll have to continue experimentation with different kinds. I think boyshorts might work for me.

I'm a thong-hater too. I like bikini cut, and they have to be cotton. Very comfy.
