Trying to get back on track...and track my progress!
Hi there. I'm 24 and getting my self back in to the fitness game!
For about a year and a half, I was dealing with an eating disorder and finally came to terms with what it was and have been retraining my mind to not see food as evil. It's been quite the journey and I slipped up once more, but I"m back and more in love with food than ever.
The only problem with that, is that I have packed on some MUCH needed but MUCH dreaded pounds and to be completely honest with you, I am LAZY! I don't want to do it half of the time so it's not wonder I gained weight! I used to work out alot. Swimming, walking, I would do work out videos, running, I wrestled in High School.
I'm just looking for something easy to start out with. I am going to start with jogging in front of the tv for 25 minutes and then doing some sit ups. This was a staple of mine in HS.
Put on some good music and just go!
As for food, I don't know what to do. I did without for so long that now I don't feel as though there is anything that I shouldn't eat. I recently moved so there is more to do in my area that is out-doorsy. I found myself destressing alot by taking the pup for a walk up the block and back.
I know it will be hard and that I will never again be a size 0, but that's ok because I'm not meant to be.
If anyone has any feed back or suggestions that they would like to give, by all means. I would enjoy some of that.:

I suggest brisk to fast-paced walking, outdoors, not stationary stuff in front of the TV. I suggest 30 minutes for starters, 7 days a week to show your commitement to fitness.
And I suggest you start an Online Journal here so we can help you. Once I see some commitment and effort on your part, I'll offer some suggestions on what to do next. Others will have great comments too, that's one think you can count on here at Discuss Fitness.

I also agree with Pierini Just remember the past is past put it behind you and start fresh . Once you start you'll feel better and better and it will just be your way of life
GOOD LUCK!!
