Question

women and chest work out question

I've heard that doing incline chest work is good for the woman that wants to keep the feminine chest look and that the decline will give a flatter appearance. Hope I'm making myself clear. I'm afraid my attempt at trying to be delicate is not working...Anyway.
From what I can understand, the incline works the muscle that will give a "lift" and the decline will take that "lift" away. Get it? ( hehehe )
This is speaking of bench work, but are there any other exercises I should do or not do to keep my "natural breastly look" as a lady?

I'm no expert on this because I'm male and because I'm not much of an expert on anything, but usually what gives females the "flatter look" is the fact that the've cut down their body fat so much. Since the breast are mostly fatty tissue an overall reduction of body fat reduces breast size, not muscle growth taking place underneath. I could be wrong here so it would probably be good to look for some other advice, I bet Merrida knows...

Yeah losing weight has that disadvantage.. but look at it this way.. your whole bod gets smaller.. so what boobs u do have are emphasized by your small back and small waist.. and none of that gross back/bra fat..

I am not to sure how accurate this might be... I am not 100% here but if you think of the male chest (easier to visualize) incline bench will work more of the upper part of the chest... while decile will work the lower part...

incline might give more of a lift but decline might give more of an illusion of size..

all the hot girls hit the bench

If anything, developing chest muscles can only help breast size when women lose fat. Since female breasts are basically fatty tissue, and since spot reduction is not possible, you'll lose bust size as you reduce your overall body fat. Short of artificial implants, only by developing the underlying muscle can you attempt to enhance the size of your inevitably shrinking breasts.

Yikes, this sounds like a horror film!

Ok, I'll focus on developing the underlying muscle I like my breast but I'd rather have less and be fit than more and be fat!
Thanks

I’m a male and when I started training six months ago I had no pectoral definition at all. Now by training my chest once a week with heavy weight, usually 6reps 3 sets I now have a very nice chest. Now I joke with my girlfriend who doesn’t weight train that my breasts are bigger than hers, she’s about an A cup.

So I would say ya you’re going to lose the fatty part of your breasts but if you train your chest right you should be able to make up some of the fat you lose with muscle.

Mine have shrunk alot since I started bodybuilding but I'm not about to stop for my breasts. I don't like it but hey what can you do. If I continue bodybuilding and one day their practically gone and I don't feel good about it I'll get breasts implants. I'd loose my breasts anytime for a great cut and defined body with low bf. I mean my boyfriend's not too thrilled with my diseapering breasts but what can I do?

building your pecs will make your breasts look firmer, give the illusion of more cleavage, and make them bigger. Think about what a breast implant is. It is a sphere usually placed behind the muscle! You are basically simulating a breast implant when you build up the muscle instead of just push it out artificially.

I don't follow the incline/decline information you heard. If anything I would tend to think it would be the opposite. but don't worry about it, building your pecs will only help.
