women's training

I have been having difficulty finding information on training techniques for women. Will the things I've read for men work for me too?

Women take advice about not getting to bulky. One picture of woman who takes steroids is probably all you need. Most men take advice from huge steriod guys.

Neither of which is probably all that scientific. It's just geared to sell more magazines.

Training techniques apply just the same to women as men.

These are excellent sites specifically for women:

Training principles are pretty much the same, mostly. We have a harder time bulking because we don't have nearly as high levels of natural anabolic hormones, some exercises may benefit from minor form adjustments for wider hips and smaller shoulders (I'm short enough that I don't even fit properly into some machines at gyms), we have a harder time losing bodyfat, especially on our lower bodies, and we have greater muscle endurance- we can lift for more reps closer to our maximum capacity than men can, as a general rule. We're more flexible, so joint hyperextension can be easier/more risky.
