You are probably right. I will never be happy with my lifts. I guess a better word would be comfortable. I have certain goals in mind before I can move on to different things.

Right now they are;
Bench Press 405
Deadlift 500
I don't really have a goal for my squat because my knees don't hold out for them too well
After I meet these goals I will move onto other goals-such as fighting MMA, tri-athalon, and eventually onto body-building

do the bodybuilding first...strong lifts would benefit you much...triathalon preparation would make you alot weaker, as would the cardio involved in mma fighting

Hey Ex, copperman said he has a friend named Todd that can raw bench 615. You know of any PL's named Todd that have huge numbeers like that? I gotta think if someone is raw benching 615 they'd have competed or they'd be known in the world out there.

2scoots has a 615 raw bench. in-human is close to a 600 raw when his shouders are holding up.
chris cook, mendy, phil farmer and glen chabbot are the only powerlifters i know for sure hitting over 6 raw. mendy went 715, cook hit 655 pinkies on rings and chabot hit 675 pinkies on the rings. oh brian siders hit 600 x 4 reps raw.
is this guy a pler or just a stud in some local gym? im sure there are guys hittin 600 raw somewhere but it is rare.
john bernor is prolly close as hes hit 845 shirted recently. not sure about gene, never heard anyone post his raw numbers. michael belk is hittin high 5s raw. michael neal too. i saw a couple of mid 5s at a raw bench meet recently as well.
there is no one named tood in the top 20 from the 198s up in pling.
maybe one of the MM guys that candyass knows is hitting 6 raw.

Yeah i couldn't think of anyone named Todd off my head either. Doesn't mean he don't exist though. Just means he prolly dont' compete. Such a shame though too.

Never seen him max out raw but i asked him awhile ago and he thinks he can get 650-675 raw. I believe it too. He can do a sh!tload more weight off a 1 board than off a 4 or 5 board. It's weird.
Just wait till the WPO in chicago. The weight is like a damn ROCKET. You'd think he was pushing the bar with minis on it and thats it. Just wicked fast.

But Purepower hasn't posted since his original post so I for one don't believe it. And it all boils down to one of two things
A. He's lieing to get praise and admiration from annoymous people on the internet
B. He truely is one of the few people in the world that can put up those kind of numbers in which case I'm all ears to listen to what he has to say, which to this point has been nothing

Yah it's a rare occurance to find a 500lb raw bencher let alone a 600+ raw bencher. Only a handful of them out there. I think there's only been 10 people in the history of the world that can bench 800 or more and that's with a bench shirt on too.
