I've NEVER benched before I tried this MAX, but I have been curling my whole life.

I got a new weightset so I thought I would try Powerlifting.

Another question, Would arm length affect the bench?

Some people say arm length does some say it doesn't. Either way it's not an excuse for a poor bench because you better believe that there are guys out there with long arms benching enormous weight. Some people then again are mujch better at squatting/deadlifting than benching or vice versa. Matters how you are built.

Well guys, I just got home from the Gym and I'm an IDIOT when it comes to lifting!

DEADLIFT: I wasn't bending my legs enough/at all, After being taught the correct form I managed to lift 350 lbs (Hardly)

SQUAT: I was going down too far, my A$$ was almost touching the ground (He said some people do it that way but it's not the best for big lifts) I managed 340 lbs but I could feel my knee giving out. I will have to work on it.

BENCH PRESS: Well I did manage 190 lbs but I know that is pathetic for someone my size. (I will be focusing on this the most)

DIET: My diet is WAY off for someone trying to build strength/mass. After I lose 20 more pounds I'll address this.

Cliffs:
1. Went to Gym,
2. Found out I was doing everything wrong,
3. Did it right,
4 Improved my lifts,

Max bench: 190

Max Deadlift: 350

Max squat: 340

I have full body Arthritis from Rheumatic fever when I was a kid, so I don't know how competitive I will be, but I'm loving Powerlifting so far!

Actually there's nothing wrong with going down as low as that on squats if you are able to.

Ohh ok, It just hurts my knee.

Actually since I've been lifting alot of the pain has gone away, and I'm not feeling as sorry for myself.
