An Update

Well, for those of you who don't remember me (the vast majority I'm sure), I'm Alex and I was a regular here a couple years ago when I was getting my start. I figured an update was in order.

I am now 17, a junior in high school. I play right guard for our football team.

I am 6'2, 265 pounds.

Maxes
Bench: ~340
Squat: ~550 (Belted)
Hang Clean: ~260
Hex-Bar Deadlift: ~575

And I'm lucky enough to be getting looked at by Ball State (Muncie, In), Toledo U, and U of Dayton for football. Unfortunately for them, I got a 32 on my ACT so chances are slim of me pursuing college athletics...

Welcome back Alex. Good to see you again.

Your numbers have improved nicely. Sorry about your entrance exams, though. Don't make the call that all is lost. You might still get in, and with a tutor you should do fine.

Do you have a back up plan just in case? EFL? Or Arena Football?

If i'm not mistaken, a 32 out of a possible 36 on the ACT is a very GOOD score Ironman, and what he was implying was he be too smart for sports...

I think that's what the score meant...I could be wrong though.

with that score and football you should be looking at a pretty nice scholarship. Without the football Im sure there would be plenty out there as well, but sports and smarts are ALWAYS wanted.

Nice gains too!
