I just put some chalk there. I don' thave the tacky stuff. I chalk the hands and my forearms.

Yeah, the battlewounds are fun I guess. I have bruise around the back of my neck from bands, torn shins from deadlifts, and now torn forearms from stones. It's fun lol

Have not tried them, but I have considered them. I just might have to try them. I'm not sure how heavy I should try, though. I want it to be challenging to build up my grip, but I don't want to drop anything on my toes.

Start with a little less than half your deadlift in each hand.

I have dropped a farmer's walk bar on my toe, and it sucked, so I'm with you there.

Thanks, tim. I'll give it a try. Does the rule still apply if I use straps because I can't hold my DL?

doesn't your gyms have those little tires you put on the farmer's walk bar as bumpers?

Also be sure to grab the handle with pinkie and ring finger first cause that'swhere you have the strongest grip

No, that doesn't count. Use half of what you can hold.

It's Gold's, so no I don't think we have a farmer's walk bar. (I'm not even sure what that is.) I was just gonna use DBs.
