Can't give you any worthwhile advice -- but I certainly wish you the best. Keep us informed of how well you do.

I don't know what your current routine is, but front squats seem to be the most important exercise for increasing the clean and jerk. I was browsing several Olympic lifting sites and basically all of the articles pointed to the front squat as being the best assistant exercise for the clean and jerk.

But honestly there's not a lot that you can do in two weeks. I guess you could just try to incorporate heavy front squats this week, and then give yourself a little time to rest and recover for the meet.

If you're already doing heavy front squats, then you can disregard pretty much all of that.

Nice weight you're using there! How is it your next meet is Friday but you've only been doing the lift 2-3 weeks?

If it was me I'd reduce the weight by 30-40% and *practice* the lift until game day. You're not going to gain any strength in a weeks time but if you can improve your technique you'll put more weight up.

What is the limiting factor, the clean or the jerk?

i don't know if this is legal in comp but, i kinda like rock my body up in down to get the weight moving before i jerk
so i basically after i clean it, i bend my legs, shoot up (use legs and arms to get it going) as i get under it.

sorry if this is what the lift exactly sounds like. i kinda have a hard time explaing it.

Not sure if I understand your description (it sounds like you progress to the jerk while coming out of the clean), but in a competition I believe you have to rack the bar first in an upright position before the weight can be jerked overhead.

i mean like after you clean and your holding the bar up, then you start rocking up and down to momentum going, then explode up and dip under

Dip and drive is the way they will probably judge if you made the lift or not. Rocking is bad form and they will probably disqualify the lift.
