Clothes for serious lifters?

Alright, I'm no cut-up stud but I have grown enough in my chest and especially in my neck/traps that if I want to go ahead and get some nice clothes, I'm basically SOL. I can buy shirts that fit my body and crush my neck or shirts that fit my neck and are entirely too loose on my body. And as far as sports jackets are concerned I have to go out and buy a new one whenever it's required for a vacation or event. It's ridiculous.

How do you guys handle these problems?

Wear lose clothing. I shop at the cheap stores and discount/clearance racks lol. It sucks buying new jeans or shirts every so often. I do have some "muscle shirts" but other than that the clothing is loser on me.

Just make sure you don't catch yourself wearing those 80's style, multicolored, mc hammer shower curtains that lifters used to live in. LOL

Custom clothing is always a solution. That way you can get your clothes to fit precisely. There are some department stores that offer such services for quite reasonable prices.

Yup this is what I go through! : :
Oh and when they take my BP the Doctor needs the biggest cuff he has.

Funny story:
I was at my Doc's for a check up. We go a few times with the FD.
Well he had a med student and left him alone to take my Heart rate and BP.
The Student took my BP like 3 or 4 times and he had this funny look.
When my Doc came back the student rushed him out into the hall. I then heard wispering. When they came back in my Doc was laughing as he reached in to a draw and pulled out the "Sport" cuff. My Doc then said here try this one. Well needless to say I came out fine and we all laughed. The Student had thought my BP was sooo high he could not understand it.

You mean like the "gorilla gear" or the "otomix" lifting pants that you used to see in the gym?

I loved those but never had enough muscle to feel right wearing them just a bunch of fat. Now that I can wear them, they are so OUT. If I could find them, I would get them anyway. I would wear them for my cardio too and to the store and the bank and to church... ok not really, but I would like to have some they did look comforatable.

I'm not sure if that's what they were called but, I have to admit that when they were "IN" I wanted them but I also would never have filled them out. They do look very comfortable honestly, but I can't get past the way they look and I think that's why most people stopped wearing them, well...except the huge lifters that continue to, heh.

Kind of like the huge guy wearing the pink pants. I pointed them out to a friend once and he said, "that guy can wear whatever he wants".

Yep, I don't worry about what they wear for my own well being. I do have to admit though that there is a guy at this gym and many at my old gym who wear/wore those skin-tight spandex shorts. Very scary and it shows alot more than I'm willing to look at. lol

Try to stay away from spandex, and spandex shorts are a huge no-no .

I have three or four diffferent sizes in clothes. I wear 32 waist in the summer when I cut weight, then I go up to 38 during the winter when I gain. As my weight and sized fluctuates, I have clothes for all occasions.
