No bad calls, it was just strict. I'd rather they had been strict than let anything pass.. I had alot of fun still, of course you always want more than you get ya know?

Yup. I'm kind of excited. Was planning on going to my school's gym to try it out and ended up no one was there to open their bull**** 2 hour non-athlete student time today. I left pissed off and went and found a good gym to join. I'll finally have unlimited weight to really pound out my heavy sets

I'm glad i had to fight through adversity in a meet. I am stronger for it now mentally. The first two, i hadn't had much to worry about. When i missed the first deadlift, that was scary. It puts pressure on you to get the second one. You don't want it coming down to your 3rd attempt and needing to get it or face bombing out.

I watched some videos of my squatting at the last meet and i saw what i was doing wrong. My form just sucked yesterday. The girl from my gym calling my depth was doing everything right. My form was just way off.

I was a big ball of nerves yesterday from the start. I was more nervous for this one than any other, probably because it was a meet on home turf. I had alot of family there.

Good job Firehawk. Alot of people wouldn't have finished it out, it just shows that you have alot of heart. Good experience for your next one. I'm sure it will only get easier for you.

Cool stuff I didn't even notice this thread before. Have you been training for the comp raw ? Are you ever going to make a full transition to equipped haha? (im a gear whore now theres no use in fighting it)

This was my last raw meet. I'm gonna really focus on getting to 250lbs now and i will be getting into gear more now. I'm excited about it.
