Detroit Barbell Prowler Training Video

I thought some of you guys might like to watch this. I videotaped some of the guys from my gym playing with the new toy we have, called the Prowler. And, if it looks tough on video, wait until you try it. It's tough enough for me without any plates on it.

The videos are a little lengthy, about 8 minutes each. But, you get to see who wins the competition and watch some real characters.

I was the smart one

This stuff kind of makes me nervous with my heart and all. A week ago, or maybe 2 weeks ago now, I pushed the thing with no weight on it and that was tough enough. I didn't think it would have been smart for me to go from no weight right to 90 lbs on it.

Good stuff man. Me and my training partners have just recently started using some competition type training. Mostly just stuff like this, kinda like a relay. Its a great motivator and adds an element of fun to what otherwise would be a pretty miserable experience

Very similar to sled dragging, more like pushing a vehicle actually. Good training indeed!

So that's what they mean when they say "firehawk can 'bring it'".
