If you leave them the way they are, they aren't powerlifting squats. You would be red lighted at a meet. YOu have to BREAK parallel, which makes sense to me to go as deep as you can with a wide stance.
I use a wide stance too, and I'm alot thicker than you, and i can get 2 inches below parallel just fine. You shouldn't have a problem with that.

O dude not at all i am very flexible(im a wrestler). I don't care much for going under though, as long as i am close to parallel i am good. I am not entering any competitions for a while if ever, but i will go deeper anyways.

Haha thanks man. My lbm with 0% bf is around 170 something, with 7% i think i should be at 180 or a little more now (These numbers are 4 months old )but i think they are pretty accurate within 5 or so pounds.
I will drop weight my senior year in high cshool but for now ill continue to do what i am doing, of course since i know my weight is kinda large im doing cardio on the side when i can, just not duriong the smolov cycle cause it was too much work.

185 x 4, thats a funny number dark, because I am doing exactly the same reps and weight as you when I squat... Odd, its like we use the same numbers at everything... Hmmm, I haven't checked my max at benching lately, so I leave my max at benching at 240, did you up your bench yet?

Definitely work on hitting parallel or deeper, not just for competition, but so you can call it a real squat :

I'm glad someone else said it LOL.
I mean, there's no disrespect here. But when you go around saying you can squat 300 or so, that's implied you can at least do it to parallel, otherwise state you can get 300 a few inches above parallel.
What a huge difference 3 inches can make dude.

There is definetely not 3 inches left on that squat. I will start dropping lower but in the meantime illl make sure to squat 300 with proper form because regardless if i tripled it going 1 inch above parallel its not gonna make a big difference finishing the rep.

I suppose so... i expect my training partners to do the same thing but it looks like they don't do their job well.

I think you a bit more above parallel than 1 inch dude. I think it does make a big difference.
Next video you post, try to post one from the side. That's the best angle.

Not squatting heavy until next week... and i dont think ill use more than 270 next week. I have to decide if i want to continue doing smolov or if i want to do a more balanced program. My squat has caught up a decent amount and i am unsure that a program focusing on squatting is the best idea when i have neglected my lower back (deadlifts) for 5 weeks now, and neglected my upper body in general.
I'll get some videos regardless though...
